 What documents do I need to obtain a biometric travel document through the DCRs?Nationals of the Republic of North Macedonia residing abroad for an uninterrupted period of over six months may obtain a passport and a visa from the diplomatic and consular representation of the Republic of North Macedonia abroad. 

 

- Neatly and legibly filled out passport application 

- ID card or other identification document verifying the identity of the applicant, while persons without legal residence on the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia submit an ID card issued by a competent authority of the foreign country or other identification document verifying their identity

- Old passport for inspection and cancellation 

- Proof for regulated residence in the country where the DCR of the Republic of North Macedonia is accredited to 

- The passport application and the passport itself must be submitted and collected in person! 

Applicants need to schedule their appointment at the Embassy by phone or e-mail in order to prepare a list of interested persons. 

 

If the passport is full or damaged 

- Old passport for inspection and cancellation  

- Statement listing the causes for early replacement 

 

If the passport if lost or misplaced 

- Affidavit of Loss 

- Police report/receipt from the foreign country about lost/stolen passport 

- Additional fee charge for publishing the lost, stolen or misplaced document in the Official Gazette of the Republic of North Macedonia
